| 'Day Dream' was brought to us in 1998 by Gary Trucks. The plant is 32 x 10" with 31" flower scapes. It is a sport of 'Sea Dream'. It takes a moundlike shape and has a moderate growth rate. The leaves are yellow-gold with a slightly rippled margin. There is a little shine to the leaves, and they are modestly rugose. They are broadly ovate with a rounded base. The petioles have red spots on their bases. The color of the leaves is said to hold all season. The flowers are medium lavender and tubular. |
