| 'Candy Hearts', from Eunice Fisher (1998), is a nakaiana hybrid. The plant is 31 x 15" with a 19" scape (15-year old clump). The leaves are medium blue-green, shiny on top and dull underneath, with a slightly rippled margin. They are broadly ovate with a cordate base, cupped, and lightly wavy. The tubular flowers are light lavender, striped, and there is no seed set. Sports from 'Candy Hearts' include 'Amber Maiden', 'Heartsong', 'Cupid's Dart', and 'Cupid's Arrow'. |
