*registered by Aden but evidence points to F Shaw
The giant among Florence Shaw's blue hostas. The foliage mound reaches a generous 54 x 48", and the plant is a rapid grower. The pale lavender flowers bloom early and it is considered to be floriferous. Van Wade recommends 35% shade but says the plant will accept as much as 85% sun. The leaves are a light blue, cordate, and have excellent substance. "Nearly" slug-proof. |
