This small hosta from Mildred Seaver has been very popular and is now quite inexpensive. Leaves have a fine white edge which varies considerably in width; they are ovate-cordate and have a matte surface. The dark purple, bell-shaped flowers appear in mid-July and August. The plant grows into a neat compact mound and is ideal for anybody with limited garden space. A fast grower, this nakaiana hybrid may be 18 x 8" when mature. It is fertile and came to us in 1980. |
