DRAWSTRING-LEAVED HOSTA

The following cultivars have been reported by gardeners to display a drawstring effect along the leaf edges. This is usually caused by the center leaf area growing faster than the leaf margin. Many of these are wonderful and attractive plants, and may still be worth growing in spite of the drawstring effect. For best results, locate these cultivars in an area with minimal direct sunlight. The first flush of leaves can also be removed.
