| Also known simply as 'Aoki', this plant was named by von Siebold for Aoki Kon'yo, who produced the first Japanese-Dutch dictionary. Once called fortunei var. aoki, it is now considered to be a selection of 'Fortunei Hyacinthina', which is a similar color green but more rugose or wrinkled when mature. The size of the plant is 48x25" with 40" flower scapes having leafy bracts. The leaves are cordate. |
