| 'Filagree' came from David Reath. It is 24x18" with 30" scapes. It is a large plant and very unstable. The leaves are broadly ovate with a cordate base which overlaps at the bottom of the central vein. It is not unlike 'Cynthia' in the leaf patterning. The leaves have blotches, streaks, and spots of yellow-cream and lighter green. As the summer progresses the leaf becomes viridescent and most of the patterning become a subtle two-tone green pattern. Early in the season it is spectacular. It sets seeds. 'Filagree' is believed to be the same plant as 'Doctor Reath'. |
