The foliage mound on this light silvery blue hosta (TF3x1 in Eric Smith's Tardiana series) measures 12 x 6". All of the Tardianas come from a fortuitous cross of 'Tardiflora x sieboldiana 'Elegans', ergo the prefix "tar" combined with the suffix "diana." The lanceolate leaves have excellent substance. It has an excellent growth rate for a Tardiana and makes a fine specimen or border plant. The lavender bell-shaped flowers are fertile. It takes a good and experienced eye to differentiate between 'Blue Blush' and 'Hadspen Heron'.
